| 内容記述 | TUT has offered a new subject, "Intercultural communication I," as part of their master's program in the year 2003. This class makes use of a basic Japanese video, "Yan and the Japanese People." Japanese students learn how to teach the Japanese language to foreigners, and international students learn the Japanese language from Japanese students. This paper examines the effects of this class based on the following points: 1) Are Japanese students able to appreciate Japanese expressions that are difficult for international students? 2) Does this class have a positive effect on students learning basic Japanese? The results of this analysis show that Japanese students are able to spot more areas that are difficult for basic Japanese learners, and international students can get as close as possible to the common Japanese class from the viewpoint of learning basic Japanese. | |||||
